Amanda and Pat's wedding was a fun day. They made their wedding unique and intimate by having a small on the beach with family and a few friends then a large reception with many more people who care about them. Amanda was anything but a bridezilla on her special day, instead she was always making sure everyone else was doing ok and offering us water on the warm August day.
Here are some of my favorite photos from the beach- i haven't had a chance to edit the reception photos yet but will make sure to post some once i do

Last week I had an opportunity to explore Lowell and the Kent County fairgrounds while taking senior pictures for Andi. She is a former camper and the camp I worked at for several years and I was excited to spend some time catching up with her Below are some of my favorite photos!

The month of July has been a break for me in photography jobs, I haven't had any! To satisfy my desire to take pictures I have been bringing my camera to Camp Beechpoint a couple times a week to take pictures for their nightly slideshows. Plus, it's a great excuse to visit my friends who work there and see former campers of mine! I've picked just a few out of many that I love to share on here

Three weeks ago my cousin Isaac married Jenn at a beautiful nature center in Lansing. I am so happy for the two of them and had a great time photographing the special day! A few weeks ago I had the privilege of taking engagement pictures for Sarah and Gabe at a beautiful park next to the Veterans Home (thanks Jenna for telling me about this place). Sarah and I have known each other since middle school and even lived together for 6 months after graduating from college. I am so happy that she has found a wonderful man to spend the rest of her life with Below are a few of my favorite photos of them.

A few weeks ago I had a chance to take engagement photos for Jessica and Eric. I know them from the college ministry I used to attend. Hello! I just want to share my latest and greatest discovery- customizable CD/ DVD labels. For those of you who already know about this it is no big deal, but I am so excited I wanted to share my first one ever! I can't wait to get creative with these labels in the future, no more writing on the disc with a sharpie for me Congratulations again to Kendyl and Chris, I hope you enjoy the photographs from your wedding day!

It's been a busy week for me with two engagement sessions and a wedding! I love that I was able to fit all this in, but I am now a little overwhelmed with editing... looks like this next week will be filled with sitting at my computer! My goal is to have some engagement photos from the first session (Jess and Eric) posted by wednesday so make sure to check back then!

On May 22nd I had the privilege of photographing Chris and Kendyl's wedding in Kalamazoo. On Saturday May 15 in an old theater downtown Ann Arbor Kendra
married the man she has been dating forever ... ok not
actually forever but many years. Kendra's mom and my mom are
cousins so I've never really been sure what we are to each other
