Sarah and Chris’s wedding

The first weekend of June I had the pleasure of being the maid of honor at my good friend Sarah's wedding.  Despite the other things I had to occupy my time I couldn't resist taking some photos as well so here are some of my favorites from the ceremony at camp and the reception at the BOB in Grand Rapids :)

Jenn and Mark’s wedding (long overdue post)

Sorry it's taken me so long to put these photos online, I guess that's what happens when I leave the country for a few weeks and then work like crazy to catch up on school that I missed.  Anyway, Jenn is a friend of mine from work and she and Mark had a great wedding on the beach despite the rain!  We didn't get as many photos as I would have liked because the weather was really uncooperative, but here are some of my favorites.

please write me a review!

Hi everyone,

If you're a former client of mine and were happy with the photography I provided for your wedding I would really appreciate it if you took a couple minutes  to write me a review.  This will help more people find my business on wedding wire!  Click the link below to get started- thanks in advance!

Dave & Jacinda’s Wedding

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Dave and Jacinda's wedding in Mt. Pleasant.  Dave and I had class together last summer and our professor actually helped connect us (he was looking for a wedding photographer, i am one).  I'm so thankful it worked out and thanks to the beautiful weather we were able to spend time outside at the reception hall taking photos.  Here are some of my favorites from their special day!

Liz & Sean

Last weekend my good friend Elizabeth who I met at Camp Beechpoint summer 2005 married Sean who she also met at camp.  The wedding was in Beechpoint's amazing new dining hall and the reception was SO much fun with all the camp people hanging out together! Though I wasn't her official photographer I couldn't help but bring my camera along and take a few photos just for fun- here are some of my favorites :)

Roy and Felicia’s Wedding

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph the wedding of Roy and Felicia, it was simple yet elegant.  Here are some of my favorite images from their special day :)

Donique & Ryan’s Wedding

I work with Donique and was excited when she asked me last summer to photograph her wedding! It was a sunny winter day in Grand Rapids for my first wedding of the 2011 here are some of my favorite pictures.  Thanks for letting me be part of your special day Donique and Ryan!

Winter Blast

Since most people don't want photography in the winter my life slows down a bit... I did however have a chance to take pictures a few weeks ago at Camp Beechpoint's (http://beechpoint.com/) Winter Blast weekend.  I brought six kids with me from my neighborhood and enjoyed the chance to hang out with friends from camp that I've known for many years.  Despite the freezing temps it was a great weekend-  here are some of my favorite pictures

Courtney & Brandon in Grand Rapids

My friend Courtney graduated from Grand Valley at the end of the summer and since has moved back to Chicago to continue her education and become one step closer to becoming a doctor! She had asked me if we could do a photo shoot around Grand Rapids so she could remember the town and this chapter of her life so of course I agreed. However, we didn't get around to it until a few weeks ago when she came to visit.  Courtney's friend Brandon asked if I would take pictures of him as well so the three of us braved the snow and cold weather and here are some of my favorite photos

Kristen’s Senior Pictures

Kristen's dad recently married a woman who teaches at the same school as my mom is a friend of my mom so a few weeks ago I got an e-mail from my mom asking if I'd be able to come to Kalamazoo and take some senior pictures.  Luckily the rain stopped just in time for us to take some outside pictures and Kristen was so brave wearing flip flops and looking at the photos you would never guess that it was a cold November afternoon!
