I had the great pleasure of taking engagement photos for Becca and Josh at Camp Beechpoint a few weeks ago.  Becca's uncle was my boss when I worked at camp and I babysit his kids often so when he told me his niece was engaged and needed a wedding photographer I told him to recommend me Actually Becca and I have met before, in spring 2006 or 2007 we were both on the same trip to Kentucky, but we have both grown a lot since then.

Here's just a small sample of the over 100 photos I ended up taking of these two!  They were fun to work with and had some great ideas of their own I can't wait until their wedding next spring!

Chris, Sarah, and I wandered through Grand Rapids stopping at 4 different locations (millennium park, john ball zoo, east town, and downtown)  in October.  We had such a fun time taking their engagement photos and the two of them were so patient with me the whole time! I was happy to do this for my friends and can't wait for their wedding next June (I'm the maid of honor!).  I waited to post these on my blog because Sarah wanted her mom to see them first but now I'm going to share some of my favorites with all of you

Roy and Martha chose a great location for their engagement photos, the wouldmar nature center in Lansing.  My cousin was married there earlier this summer so I was somewhat familiar with the place and excited to take more photos there.  The forecast called for rain but we took a chance and were lucky that it held off until we were done! I can't wait to see this couple again when I photograph their  wedding next September!
