Heather and Jerry got married  about a month ago in Kalamazoo and something that made this  wedding unique was the amount of family and the amount of love they were  surrounded by!  Heather was adopted as a baby and recently met her birth parents.  Her birth mom has three kids and  Heather and Jerry included  all of them in the wedding.  I enjoyed seeing everyone dancing and laughing together and acting like one  big family.  Despite not  having  much  time  for pictures I am thankful I could be at their wedding to witness the love that exists not only between Heather and Jerry but also amongst all the family members.

In June my longest lasting friend Sarah, who I've known since middle school, married Gabe and I was happy to photograph their special day!  I also took their engagement photos last summer which was so much fun.  Congratulations you two, sorry it has taken me so long to get these photos done!

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Dave and Jacinda's wedding in Mt. Pleasant.  Dave and I had class together last summer and our professor actually helped connect us (he was looking for a wedding photographer, i am one).  I'm so thankful it worked out and thanks to the beautiful weather we were able to spend time outside at the reception hall taking photos.  Here are some of my favorites from their special day!

Katie and George are such a fun couple, I had a lot of fun at their wedding and they were lucky enough to have the reception across the hall from a group of circus fans in the hotel.  I certainly will not forget the clown band that "crashed" the reception and entertained us all! I met Sam and Megan earlier this summer at my cousin's wedding, Sam is the brother of my cousin's new wife (that sounds more complicated than it actually is!).  I was so excited when his fiance Megan asked me to be the photographer for their wedding in September.  The ceremony was at a beautiful historic chapel on the east side of the state and Megan even rented a time slot in a garden for pictures! Three weeks ago my cousin Isaac married Jenn at a beautiful nature center in Lansing.  I am so happy for the two of them and had a great time photographing the special day! My editing work is not done yet but I promised to have some to show by this weekend so here are some of my favorite photos so far ...
