A different type of graduation photos were the focus this fall, instead of a senior in high school, Ava is finishing her masters degree at Grand Valley (which is also my alma mater)! I love the idea of celebrating the accomplishment of college graduates and wish we did it just as much as high school graduates. Her only picture requests were the iconic blue bridge downtown and a GVSU sign which we easily managed and even captured some of the last fall colors before the weather turned cold :)
Jessica and I have a mutual friend who I often take photos for so I was more then happy when she reached out to ask if I could take some portraits of her to use for her new business website! Last weekend I had such a fun time exploring the beautiful campus of Aquinas College on our last nice fall day here in West Michigan with my friend Emma. She is planning to audition for some community theater shows next year and asked me if I’d take some updated head shots for her which is a new type of photography for me so I happily obliged! We laughed a lot and I could have taken pictures of her all day. It was so hard to narrow down my favorites for this post but I hope you enjoy this preview :)
